The revised and expanded edition of ABBA - The Complete Recording Sessions was funded through a successful crowdfunding campaign, and was published on March 31, 2017, with the ebook version following on 6 April. The book won the Association for Recorded Sound Collections 2018 award for Best Popular Music Discography. As of 25 January, 2020, the hardcover version of the book is SOLD OUT, but the ebook is still available.

There may possibly be a hardcover reprint in the future, but this is far from certain. If it happens, it probably won't be before 2023. ABOUT THE BOOK

My first ABBA book, ABBA - The Complete Recording Sessions, published in 1994, has been re-published in an expanded, updated and heavily revised edition. It's something I've long wanted to do; I first started working on it back in 2007, but then got sidetracked by other projects. Now, finally, through the wonders of crowdfunding, I've been able to spend two years on research, listening to more unreleased music and alternate mixes, doing interviews, and then writing - after reading this new, completely rewritten version of the book, you will never quite hear ABBA's music in the same way again.

The book builds on the original edition by adding plenty of previously unknown facts about ABBA's recorded work, and should be a highly interesting read for the ABBA fan as well as anyone interested in classic pop music.
