Visitors visiting Visitors – Guided Tour of ABBA's Stockholm news

published June 16, 2025

There is some exciting news regarding our next guided tour of ABBA's Stockholm, helmed by me on the weekend of 5–6 July. First of all, it is now confirmed that on 5 July we will be able to visit the Julius Kronberg studio, where the atmospheric album sleeve picture for ABBA's The Visitors album was shot. On our first tour back in May, this location wasn't open to us because the Skansen park, where the studio is located, doesn't allow... well, visitors to the studio before the end of June. But now we will be able to bring you to the very location where ABBA posed for that famous photo back in November 1981.

Secondly, we're aware that not everyone will be able to devote two full days to the tour, and so we have resolved that issue. If you want to attend the ABBA tour, but are only able to make it on one of the days, you can now buy a one-day ticket for either Saturday 5th or Sunday 6th.

The tour will be jam-packed with visits to a total of well over 30 locations associated with ABBA and their rich Stockholm history, covering all facets of the story: where they lived, where they worked, and a few unexpected places as well. I am personally both proud and grateful that we got such glowing reviews from those who came along on our first tour. Here is just a sample of the nice things they said:

"What a great experience. Just GO!"

"It was moving and elevating to visit such iconic places connected to the Swedish fab four."

"What a wonderful adventure it was!"

"The tour was really well-planned, interesting and enjoyable."

"It was truly once in a lifetime adventure for me."

"If you can go, go!!! You won’t regret it!!"

What could I possibly add to that, except: book your tickets here!

Julius Kronberg's studio is where ABBA were photographed for the cover of their The Visitors album – and we'll be visiting it on our tour of ABBA's Stockholm on 5–6 July!
