• Några singlar i böckernas diskografier har försetts med fel fotografnamn till omslagen. Här är de rätta namnen.
  
  (IN ENGLISH) The sleeves for some of the singles in the discographies have been credited to the wrong photographer. Here are the correct names.

• I diskografin i Benny's Road To ABBA är namnet på kompositören till 'Malaika' felstavat (sid 266). Det ska vara Fadhili William, utan "s" på slutet. Ibland anges det fullständiga namnet på denna artist som Fadhili William Mdawida, till exempel på originalutgåvan av The Hep Stars 'Malaika'-singel.
  
  (IN ENGLISH) The discography in Benny's Road To ABBA names the composer of 'Malaika' incorrectly (page 266). The correct name is Fadhili William, without an "s" at the end. Moreover, the full name of this artist is often given as Fadhili William Mdawida; indeed, this was how he was credited on The Hep Stars' original 'Malaika' single.
  
  
  
• Diskografin i Benny's Road To ABBA, sid 267: När originalsingeln Mot okänt land / Någonting har hänt gavs ut angavs kompositören till 'Någonting har hänt' som Lille Gerhard, vilket förstås är en pseudonym för Karl-Gerhard Lundkvist.
  
  (IN ENGLISH) The discography in Benny's Road To ABBA, page 267: When the original single Mot okänt land / Någonting har hänt was released, the composer of 'Någonting har hänt' was named as Lille Gerhard, which of course is a pseudonym for Karl-Gerhard Lundkvist.
  
  
  
• I Cadillac Madness har singeln Holiday For Clowns / A Flower In My Garden försetts med felaktigt inspelningsdatum (det korrekta datumet är sommaren/hösten 1968). Även omslagsfotografen är felaktigt identifierad - fotografen till denna bild är okänd.
  
  (IN ENGLISH) In the Cadillac Madness book, the single Holiday For Clowns / A Flower In My Garden has been assigned an incorrect recording date (the correct date is summer/autumn 1968). The sleeve photographer is also incorrect - it is not known who took the picture for this sleeve.
  
  
  
• Angående låten 'Hope' på LP:n It's Been A Long Long Time (se diskografin i Benny's Road To ABBA, sid 276). Låten spelades inte in först av The Hep Stars; originalet gjordes troligen av den amerikanska gruppen The Candymen. John Rainey Adkins, som skrev 'Hope' tillsammans med Buddy Buie, var medlem i gruppen. The Candymens originalversion av låten ingick på deras självbetitlade album, utgivet i november 1967. Adkins och sångaren i The Candymen, Rodney Justo, var senare medlemmar i Beaverteeth, som spelade in en version av 'Hope' 1977 (vilket nämns i diskografin).
  
  (IN ENGLISH) Regarding the song 'Hope' on the It's Been A Long Long Time album (see the discography in Benny's Road To ABBA, page 276). The Hep Stars were not the first band to record the song; that honour apparently went to the American band The Candymen. John Rainey Adkins, who wrote 'Hope' together with Buddy Buie, was a member of The Candymen. The song was included on their eponymous album, released in 1967. Adkins and Candymen lead vocalist Rodney Justo were later members of Beaverteeth, who recorded a version of 'Hope' in 1977 (this is mentioned in the discography).
  
  
  
• Angående låten 'Wedding', som först gavs ut på singel och sedan fanns med på LP:n The Hep Stars. I diskografin i Benny's Road To ABBA framstår det som om det är samma version på den svenska singeln, på LP:n samt på de utländska singlar där 'Wedding' har förekommit. Detta stämmer inte: i själva verket har minst tre olika versioner av 'Wedding' givits ut på skiva.
  
  'Weddings' inspelningshistorik är troligen som följer: I april 1966 spelar Hep Stars in en bakgrund till 'Wedding' och lägger därefter på sång. När låten ska ges ut på singel i Sverige tycker man att det är en repetition för mycket på slutet och klipper bort halva avslutningen, så att det bara finns en repetition kvar: orgel + övriga instrument spelar tillsammans. Denna version kallar vi här version 1.
  
  Sedan singeln givits ut påpekar någon att Svenne sjunger fel i texten: i stället för "to fall down on my knees" sjunger han "to FELL down on my knees". Svenne gör ett nytt sångpålägg på den gamla bakgrunden och denna version kommer med på LP:n The Hep Stars. Men den här gången klipper man inte bort något på slutet, utan orgelavslutningen spelas två gånger: en gång enbart med orgel och sedan med orgel och övriga instrument. Denna version kallar vi version 2.
  
  När 'Wedding' ska ges ut på singel utomlands tar man, förmodligen av misstag, fel band: den oklippta originalinspelningen av 'Wedding' från april 1966, där Svenne sjunger fel i texten, men där det också är två repetitioner i avslutningen. Denna version kallar vi version 3.
  
  Detta är utgivningsordningen, i enlighet med upplägget i diskografin i Benny's Road To ABBA:
  
  Wedding [1] (längd: 2:48). På singeln Wedding/When My Blue Moon Turns To Gold Again, Olga SO 25; sid 257 i Benny's Road To ABBA.
  
  Wedding [2] (längd: 3:01). På LP:n The Hep Stars, Olga LPO 04; sid 262 i Benny's Road To ABBA.
  
  Wedding [3] (längd: 2:57). På samtliga utländska singlar där 'Wedding' har förekommit (utgivna i Storbritannien, Nederländerna, Italien, Spanien och Västtyskland). Berörda utgåvor i diskografin i Benny's Road To ABBA är den brittiska singeln Olga OLE 001 (sid 273 i boken) samt den nederländska singeln Olga SOH 24 (sid 282).
  
  
  WEDDING PÅ CD:
  
  Den i dag svåråtkomliga singelversionen av 'Wedding' (version 1) finns inte på någon av Hep Stars reguljära CD-utgåvor. Däremot finns den på samlings-CD:n Tio i topp - Volym 4: 1965-67 (EMI CDP 7903672). Emellertid tycks denna CD nu vara utgången.
  
  Version 2 av 'Wedding' är den som finns på de flesta Hep Stars-CD, t.ex. CD-utgåvan av LP:n The Hep Stars, samt samlingen Cadillac Madness.
  
  Version 3 av 'Wedding', än mer svåråtkomlig än version 1, finns inte utgiven på CD.
  
  
  (IN ENGLISH) Regarding the song 'Wedding', which was first released on a single and then included on the album The Hep Stars. The discography in Benny's Road To ABBA states that it's one and the same version on the Swedish single, the album and on the foreign single releases which have featured the song. This is incorrect: in actual fact, there are three different versions of 'Wedding'.
  
  The recording history of 'Wedding' is probably as follows: In April 1966, The Hep Stars record a backing track for 'Wedding' to which vocals are then added. When the song is to be issued on single in Sweden, it is felt that there is a superfluous repeat in the instrumental ending. Thus, half the ending is edited out of the track, so that only one repeat is left: with the organ and the other instruments playing together. This is version 1.
  
  After the release of the single, someone points out that Svenne makes an error with the lyrics: instead of "to fall down on my knees" he sings "to FELL down on my knees". Svenne makes a new vocal overdub and this version is included on the album The Hep Stars. But this time the recording is not edited - the end bit is played twice: once with the organ only and then with the organ and the other instruments. This is version 2.
  
  When 'Wedding' is about to be released on singles abroad, someone probably chooses the wrong tape by accident: the unedited original recording of 'Wedding' from April 1966, with Svenne singing the incorrect lyrics, but also with two repeats at the end of the song. This is version 3.
  
  This, then, is the release history of 'Wedding', in accordance with the system used in the discography in Benny's Road To ABBA:

  Wedding [3] (duration: 2:57). Issued on all foreign single releases of the song (in Great Britain, The Netherlands, Italy, Spain and West Germany). For the discography in Benny's Road To ABBA, the relevant discs are the British single Olga OLE 001 (page 273 in the book) and the Dutch single Olga SOH 24 (page 282 ).
  
  
  WEDDING ON CD
  
  The rare single version of 'Wedding' (version 1) is not available on any of the regular Hep Stars CDs. It is included on the various artists compilation CD Tio i topp - Volym 4: 1965-67 (EMI CDP 7903672). However, it appears this CD is now out of print.
  
  Version 2 of 'Wedding' is the one found on most CDs, for example the CD edition of the album The Hep Stars and the compilation double-CD Cadillac Madness.
  
  Version 3 of 'Wedding', even rare than version 1, is not available on CD.
