Rare pictures of Agnetha and Frida

One of the most exciting aspects of writing a biography like Bright Lights Dark Shadows is all the indepth research you get to do. Although it is incredibly time-consuming, and often frustrating, it's also very rewarding when you find exactly the information you've been searching for, or stumble across stories you didn't even know were there.

A major challenge during the writing of this particular book was piecing together the story of Agnetha and Frida's early lives and careers. A lot of time was spent just searching through microfilms of local papers, page after page after page, in the hope that there might be something printed about a particular episode in their lives.

In doing so, I came across quite a few interesting articles. Some of the pictures featured in those articles I believe are quite unusual and have probably not been seen by many people since the stories were first printed. Even though these are mostly scans of photocopies of poorly microfilmed newspaper prints, I thought their historical value might be interesting enough to justify showing them here.
